Open Office Privacy Booth
It mocks corporate workplace trends that create problems with one fashionable redesign, then sell a second fashionable fix for the damage—while still insisting the whole setup promotes connection, collaboration, and culture.
A wide shot of a sleek, sunlit open-plan office proudly designed with no cubicles, long communal tables, and trendy plants—except the entire floor is now crowded with tiny glass soundproof booths, each containing a single employee hunched over a laptop or phone. Instead of talking to the person three feet away, they’re all visibly typing to one another on workplace chat, with message bubbles seen through the glass. Above them, a giant corporate slogan on the wall reads: “BETTER TOGETHER.” The humor comes from the office having been stripped of walls in the name of collaboration, only for management to reintroduce even smaller, more isolating walls so people can function.
